About Fibromyalgia –

Fibromyalgia is a widespread chronic pain syndrome. It is difficult to diagnose especially since there is no cure, there is no known 100% for sure cause, and there is no one size fits all treatment. My fibro was officially diagnosed after 2+ years of being in and out of occupational therapy and multiple doctors’ offices. I had what several doctors called “the million dollar blood test” done – i.e. was tested for every known auto immune disease. Unfortunately there is no test for how the body responds to stress and abuse. One of the few things medical scientists know for sure about Fibromyalgia is that it typically manifests itself following a traumatic event…or prolonged traumatic events. It is one of the ways the body reacts to trauma. Read Mayo Clinic’s assessment of Fibro – https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/fibromyalgia/symptoms-causes/syc-20354780

About Hypothyroidism –

Hypothyroidism is what happens with the thyroid is underactive. In other words, your thyroid isn’t working enough. Follow this link here for basic information about Hypothyroidism.

About Endometriosis –

Endo is an auto-immune disease where the endometrium (lining of the uterus) exists in the pelvic region. Endometriosis is a destructive disease that is like a weed. There is no one case alike, and the amount of pain or symptoms do not actually correlate with how severe or not one’s Endo is. Mine is mild, but my symptoms have been significant at times.
